About Producer Nerdy stuff Serving

Klein Constantia, a wine producer that encapsulates the essence of South African winemaking. With a history that dates back centuries, their dedication to quality and tradition shines through every sip. Nestled on elevated slopes, their vineyards enjoy a unique advantage—being among the Cape's chilliest. This distinctive climate lends a touch of magic to their wines, concentrating the flavors in every grape.

Fermentation

Grapes were harvested from 4.00am from a selection of 6 different high lying blocks able to withstand the way in which the wine is made. The blocks are a combination of biodynamic, organic and sustainably farmed vineyards. No sulphur was added at crush and fermentation was wild.

Maturation

The wine was left to mature on the lees for a period of 12 months in a combination of stainless steel tank as well as 20% neutral oak barrels.
